Toy Tales ("we", "our", "the App") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information.

This is the most important point: We do NOT save, store, or retain your photos in any way. When you take or select a photo, it is sent to our AI service for real-time analysis to identify the toys in the image. Once the analysis is complete, the image is immediately and permanently discarded. No copies are made, no backups are kept, and no images are stored on our servers or any third-party servers.

We use artificial intelligence (AI) technology to analyze the photos you provide. This analysis happens in real time solely to detect and identify the toys in the image so a story can be generated. The AI does not perform facial recognition or biometric processing. If a human face is detected, the App warns you and asks for confirmation before proceeding.

We collect only the minimum information necessary:

• Account information: Anonymous user identifiers for authentication purposes
• Purchase data: Records of credit purchases, managed through Apple/Google payment systems
• Preferences: Your chosen language and story settings, stored locally on your device
• Usage data: Basic, anonymous analytics to improve the App (no personal identifiers; disabled for users identified as under 13)

• Photos or images (as explained above)
• Names, email addresses, or phone numbers
• Location data
• Contact lists
• Any biometric data

The App uses the following third-party services:

• AI services for image analysis and story generation (images are processed in real time and never stored)
• Payment processors (Apple App Store / Google Play) for in-app purchases
• RevenueCat for purchase management

These services have their own privacy policies, and we encourage you to review them.

The App is designed for families and is accessible to users of all ages.

Age Verification: On Android, we ask users to enter their birth month and year before using the App. This information is stored locally on your device only and is never transmitted to our servers. It is used solely to provide an age-appropriate experience.

Users Under 13: For users identified as under 13 years of age, analytics data collection is automatically disabled. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us immediately so we can delete it.

We are committed to complying with the Google Play Families Policy and applicable children's privacy laws, including COPPA. Children should use the App under parental or guardian supervision.

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information during transmission. Since we do not store photos or personal data, the risk surface is minimal.

Preferences are stored locally on your device and can be cleared by uninstalling the App. Anonymous usage data is retained in aggregated form only.

You have the right to:

• Request deletion of any data associated with your account
• Opt out of analytics collection
• Uninstall the App at any time, removing all locally stored data

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected in the "Last Updated" date above.
